OUR PHILOSOPHY

IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT PUTTING ON A SHOW!  Each of our 3-week camps will culminate in performances of either a Broadway Show

or a Musical Revue of scenes and songs from Broadway shows.  However, the primary purpose of TheatriCamp is for our kids to have fun while they receive top-notch training in singing, dancing, and acting.  The show simply gives us a structure and something specific to

work on, and the performances give the kids an opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned.

We round out our days with art projects, theatre games, and time to play!

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?  Our goal is to get to know each camper individually, identify their level of talent and experience, understand what they would like to achieve, and then challenge them to take the next step forward in a way that will help them realize their goals.  We strive to make sure that every performer has their moment in the spotlight in each of our performances.

ALL EXPERIENCE WELCOMED!  Whether you are Broadway bound or have never set foot on a stage, we have a place for you!

For those that are interested in preparation for a future in theatre, we offer advanced training in vocal work, music theory, dance technique, and acting.

For those who simply want to explore the world of theatre, we provide an experience that builds confidence & self-esteem, teaches teamwork, and fosters creativity.

We group our campers according to age and experience so that the children feel neither bored nor overwhelmed.

TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE!  Our camps are a lot of fun for kids who are interested in all aspects of Musical Theatre.  We keep everyone pretty busy, so it's not the best choice for families who are interested in a leisurely day camp.  We have a place for kids of all ages - from elementary school through high school.  While every kid is different, we've found that our camp is best suited to those who are headed into their 3rd-Grade year and above.
